Motor holding shaft problem
Service support - Product "Three Guarantees service" - Common fault handling

In the normal operation of the motor, between the rotating and stationary parts of the bearing device part, suddenly fierce mechanical friction occurs, accompanied by high temperature, so that the metal parts adhesion or mechanical swelling, so that the motor immediately stop rotating, commonly known as the holding shaft.

After the problem of holding shaft appears, it is generally the bearing inner cover, bearing outer cover, curved ring, oil ring, water ring and other parts and shaft friction and scrap. In serious cases, the bearing falls and the rotor sinks, causing serious consequences such as stator breaking pressure and shaft annealing deformation caused by the friction between the stator and rotor cores, and it is difficult to accurately determine the specific reasons.

Precautions for maintenance: It is an effective way to avoid the occurrence of shaft holding and serious shaft holding problems to find the abnormal temperature of motor bearing in time and stop the machine to check the cause in time. For the motor supporting the key equipment, it is necessary to install the bearing temperature measuring device and send the signal to the central control room.

For rolling bearings, it is generally set to alarm at 90℃ and stop at 95℃.

For forced lubrication sliding bearings (when the oil output temperature is not higher than 65℃), generally set to 80℃ alarm, 85℃ stop; The self-lubricating sliding bearing is generally set to 90℃ alarm, 95℃ stop, or according to the technical agreement.

When the ambient temperature and load conditions do not change, and there is no grease filling, when the temperature of the motor bearing rises by 10℃ abnormally, it should be switched to the standby motor in time to check the motor.
